2008 Lunch and a Lecture Series

The HHFI annual community lectures series kicks off its 2008 season on May 7 with Chris Calkins presenting “The Battle of the Bulge Revisited”. At this lecture we will also be asking attendees to bring and share any WWII memorabilia they may have. The Director of Museums, Shirley Belkowitz, will be providing information on how to protect and store historical items.

All lectures during May and June will take place at the Appomattox Regional Library in downtown Hopewell. The remainder of the lectures will take place at Weston Manor. Bring a brown bag lunch and an appetite for fun and knowledge. HHFI will provide dessert and beverages. For more information about the lectures, which will run through September, please call the HHFI at 804-458-4682.
