2010 Lecture Series

The HHFI annual Lunch and Lecture Series begins May 19 and goes through September 15. This free popular series mixes history and fun for all ages!


All lectures will start at noon and be held at the Appomattox Regional Library in downtown Hopewell. Bring a brown bag lunch and an appetite for fun and knowledge. HHFI will provide dessert and beverages. For more information please see the full calendar section or call 804-458-4682.

HHFI Sounds of Summer concert series

Music at a historic setting on the Appomattox River! HHFI presents this free summer concert series at Weston Plantation every Sunday at 4:00 PM during May and June. Bring lawn chairs and blankets as well as picnics and snacks and enjoy a different band every week.

All manor of things auction event

Join us at the Beacon Theater on May 8th for an evening of fun! The second All Manor of Things Auction Event will be held at 6:30 and will feature delicious food and drink and both a live and silent auction.
